Spent the better part of two weeks doing bank stabilisation with the tracks in water most of the day. Pulled the final drive plugs this morning and both sides came out grey and milky. Left side worse than right.
Duo cone seals are the obvious suspect. Question is whether I flush and refill and keep an eye on it, or pull them now before I lose a bearing.

Do not just flush it and hope. Milky means water has been in there long enough to emulsify, and the bearing races will already have started to etch.
Pull both sides. If you are lucky it is only the seals and you are into it for a day and a pair of seal kits. If you run it, you are into a full final drive rebuild and that is a different number entirely.

Agreed on pulling it. Also worth checking your track roller oil while you are down there — if the finals took on water the rollers usually have too.
